Brest Regional Executive Committee continues to spend budget money on equipment. The officials bought two 75-inch LG TV sets, spending 11,946 rubles on them. BGmedia tells what kind of TV sets they are and whether Horizon has analogs.

What kind of TV sets the officials bought

Brest Regional Executive Committee placed a tender on the state procurement website on August 8 and closed it the same day. It paid 11,946 rubles for two LG TVs, meaning one cost 5,973 rubles. They will be brought to the regional executive committee this week - from August 11 to August 15.

In one of the documents in the tender, officials did not even begin to hide that they needed TV sets from LG. They published the main technical specifications:

- Type - LED;

- Screen diagonal - 75 inches;

- Screen resolution - 3840×2160 (4K UHD);

- Matrix frequency - 60 Hz;

- Case color - black, frame color - dark gray, stand color - dark gray;

- Matrix type - IPS;

- Backlight technology - side (Edge LED);

- Expanded dynamic range (HDR) - HDR10, HLG;

- Width - 1 675 mm, height with stand - 1 043 mm, depth - 405 mm;

- Weight with stand - 40 kg, without stand - 36.6 kg.

Which specific model of LG TVs were bought, the tender did not specify. But it was not difficult to find it. In the Onliner catalog in the filters journalists specified the above characteristics. The South Korean company LG has only two TVs that fully correspond to the description. These are the NanoCell NANO82 75NANO829QB and the NanoCell NANO82 75NANO826QB. Between themselves they differ by only one digit, and they have practical identical features. Both models were released in 2022.

The Brest officials paid 5,973 rubles for one TV set. If they bought the ones we've listed above, then in Belarus the prices start from Br4,400. But on some sites selling equipment, they are no longer available.

By the way, the Belarusian manufacturer Horizont does not have a line of TV sets with a diagonal of 75 inches. Brest officials need to temper their appetites to be able to support the domestic manufacturer.
