Zelensky Names Key Expectations From Trump-Putin Meeting

"It's time to end the war."

Today's meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should open the possibility of real peace between Ukraine and Russia, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wrote in Telegram.

According to Zelensky, he held a Supreme Commander's Stake. The Ukrainian president is already waiting for intelligence reports on Russia's current plans and its preparations for the Alaska summit.

He also added that Ukraine is counting on the United States and is ready to work as productively as possible.

According to the Ukrainian head of state, the Stavka also considered the development of the contracting system in the Ukrainian Defense Forces. He assured that under any circumstances the army would be ready to respond effectively and quickly to threats to Ukrainian statehood.
