Vance Won't Be In Alaska With Trump

The media named the reason for the absence of the US Vice President at the meeting with Putin.
US Vice President Jay Dee Vance wrote on August 15 in X that he is praying for peace in Ukraine.
He reposted a video of US President Donald Trump's comments: the latter spoke to reporters aboard a plane after flying to Alaska and talked about his expectations of meeting Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Vance thanked Trump for his leadership and added: "Praying for peace in the days ahead."
According to Reuters, Vance will not be with Trump in Alaska. Agency sources said the US president and vice president do not usually travel together due to "continuity of government considerations" and logistical constraints from separate US Secret Service security units.
Grateful for President Trump's leadership today as he travels to Alaska to meet with President Putin of Russia.
