White House Cuts Moments From Video Of Trump Applauding Putin

US President Donald Trump applauded the Kremlin leader several times during a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska. However, this footage was cut out in a White House video.

What preceded

Trump met Putin in Alaska after he landed in Anchorage. A ramp and red carpet were prepared there to meet the dictator.

While Putin was walking from the plane to Trump the latter applauded him several times. This caused quite a stir in the media. In particular, the Russian media viewed this act of Trump as positive for Putin.

What the White House did

After some time, the White House published official photos and video from the moment of the meeting between Trump and Putin. However, the video that the Trump administration presented had his applause for Putin cut out.
