"The conversation was quite substantial. We agreed that on Monday we should discuss various details with Trump and how we will basically move forward," the source told RBC-Ukraine.

He said there were serious expectations that the meeting between Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska would result in a ceasefire, but Putin opposed it.

The interlocutor also confirmed the information that instead of an immediate ceasefire, the Russian dictator wants to achieve all his political whims regarding Ukraine at once. At the same time, Trump will continue to try to achieve some results as soon as possible.
