An unusual detail of the Alaska summit.
In Alaska, Putin was shown, both unobtrusively and deliberately, the most advanced U.S. Air Force assets, including those that most recently struck underground bunkers in Iran, writes The Moscow Times.
After Donald Trump and Putin greeted each other at Alaska's Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force Base, five bombers flew over their heads. And footage posted on social media by a U.S. presidential aide shows the limousine where Trump and Putin sat driving past lined up military planes and helicopters.
Four F-35 jets from Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska and a B-2 stealth bomber from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri flew over the airfield, a U.S. official with knowledge of the miniparade preparations told CBS News. The B-2s were used to bomb underground nuclear facilities in Iran in June. They flew there just off a base in Missouri to carry out what the U.S. military described as "the largest operational strike using B-2s in U.S. history."

Putin was visibly surprised when five planes flew overhead, according to Australia's leading news website news.com.au. It also cites comments from social media users who called such a "brilliant" demonstration of "superiority" and military power. "If this isn't intimidation, I don't know what to call it," one wrote. "Trump is demonstrating a master class in PR," another noted.
