Russia Abruptly Changed Payments To Occupiers

In some regions, the amounts were cut almost in half.

Russia has drastically changed the size of lump-sum payments to contract servicemen amid budget deficit.

The project "I want to live" reports about it.

With the news of a serious budget deficit in Russia, a noticeable disparity in the price of "cannon fodder" in different regions is beginning to emerge.

If earlier lump-sum payments for signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense exclusively grew, this year there is a reverse trend and payments are being reduced.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine pointed out that in some regions there is a diametrically opposite picture: some local authorities are reducing payments almost twice, while others are still raising them. For example,

in Bashkortostan "lifting allowances" have been reduced from 1.6 million to 1 million rubles,

in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, which used to be one of the leaders in terms of payments, - from 3.1 million to 1.9 million,

in Belgorod region - from 3 million to 800 thousand,

in Nizhny Novgorod region - from 3 million to 1.5 million rubles.

At the same time, in Tatarstan, those who sign a contract were "added" another 600 thousand rubles and are now promised 3.1 million rubles, in Ryazan region - a million rubles.

According to the project, the cost of living of a contract worker in different subjects can differ twice.

That is, a conditional resident of Moscow or St. Petersburg is clearly more valuable than a resident of Yakutia, Magadan or Chuvashia.
