Iranian President Is Coming To Belarus

The visit comes amid strained relations between the ayatollahs' regime and the US.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Belarus early next week, according to a report by his political advisor, director of the Institute for Iran and Eurasia Studies (IRAS) Mehdi Sanai, noted "Pozirk".

"Dr. Pezeshkian will make a two-day trip to Armenia and Belarus from Monday, 27 Merdad (1404 - according to the Persian calendar, the date corresponds to August 18, 2025. - "Pozirk.), will make a two-day trip to Armenia and Belarus," he wrote on his social network page X. Pezeshkian, as the president of the country-observer to the EAEU, was supposed to participate in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on June 27 in Minsk, but canceled the trip due to the situation in the Middle East region.

It is noteworthy that the visit of the Iranian president will take place against the backdrop of increasing open contacts between Alexander Lukashenko and the authorities of the United States of America and at the same time tensions between the United States and Iran.
