Russians In Alaska Fueled Their Planes For Cash

The Kremlin faces the consequences of aggression on a daily basis.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio clarified that the United States - despite Donald Trump's repeated threats to punish Russia with sanctions for refusing to cease fire - has no plans to impose restrictions at this point, and noted that current sanctions have forced the Russian delegation in Alaska to refuel planes for cash.

He said this in an interview with NBC News.

He added that all sanctions that were in place against Russia when Trump took office remain in place.

"All sanctions and their impact remain in place. You know, when the Russians landed in Alaska, they were trying to get fuel. They had to offer cash to fuel their planes because they can't use our banking system. They face the consequences every day," the US Secretary of State added.
