Zelensky Presented Trump With A Gift Given By A Ukrainian Armed Forces Soldier

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump exchanged gifts during their communication at the White House on August 18. This is stated on the website of the Ukrainian president.

It is noted that Zelensky presented Trump with a golf club, which was given to him by a junior sergeant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Konstantin Kartavtsev.

The Ukrainian president said the warrior lost his leg in the early months of the full-scale Russian invasion while rescuing his twin soldiers, and afterward golf became part of his rehabilitation and helped him regain physical and emotional balance.

The report said that the head of state showed the American leader a video in which Kartavtsev appeals to Trump to help Ukraine end the war with a just and lasting peace.

In turn, the US president accepted the gift and recorded a video thanking the Ukrainian warrior for the club, and gave Zelensky symbolic keys to the White House.
