Lithuania Handed Belarus A Note Of Protest

Because of a drone intrusion into their territory.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania summoned the chargé d'affaires of Belarus in Vilnius and handed him a note of protest over the illegal intrusion of a drone into the country on July 28. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania in Facebook.

"On August 1, the Lithuanian Air Force confirmed that the drone was detected on the territory of Lithuania, in the Jonava district, at the Gaižiunai firing range. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded that Belarus immediately provide a detailed explanation of this incident and prevent any further violations," the statement reads.
