Drones Were Heard Again In The Gomel Region

What we know so far.

On the evening of August 19, Russian drones were again recorded in Homel region, which entered the airspace of Belarus while attacking the territory of Ukraine. The situation was again atypical, writes "Flagstok".

According to "Flagstok", around 22:00, a characteristic sound of a "moped" was heard in Narovla. The drone flew over the district center in an unknown direction, witnesses reported.

At that time, Ukrainian monitoring channels did not record overflights from the territory of Belarus, but noted them later: two "Shaheds" that flew in from Gomel region were heading from Kiev region to Zhitomir region a few minutes before 23:00 - according to the "PVO Radar" channel.

According to another channel, "eRadar," one of the drones initially appeared near Chernihiv at 22:30, then was locationally lost and around 22:50 appeared in the Chernobyl zone in Kiev region, a representative of the channel told "Flagstaff."

The monitors failed to record the fact of crossing the border of Belarus, but they noted that it was presumably a jet drone, which develops speeds of up to 300-350 km/h. Probably, this is the first case of using the airspace of Belarus for the passage of a jet "Shahed".

In Narovla they heard a drone with an ordinary engine.

Before that, the last time a Russian UAV was observed in Homel voblast in the morning of August 15. At that time, two monitoring channels reported that at about 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. a drone of unidentified type was heading from Belarus to the border of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

Before that, there was a lull for 10 days - after two groups of UAVs of unidentified type (presumably attack drones) entered Chernihiv region from the direction of Belarus on the night of August 4.

Then, too, the exact time and place of the border crossing were not recorded - since then, the Russian drones' overflights have become atypical, which may indicate a change in the Russian army's attack tactics.
