The issue of equipping missiles for the Polonez complex with nuclear warheads is being considered. This was stated by State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Wolfovich after a meeting on the issue of missile production, BelTA informs.

Volfovich recalled that the Polonez missile system was created jointly with China and later modernized at Belarusian enterprises

- Today it is a state-of-the-art complex. The range of the missile was 200 kilometers, today it is a missile of 300 kilometers. This is a high-precision weapon. Of course, any weapon requires adjustments and changes. Questions have already been raised about equipping these missiles with nuclear warheads. And how to integrate "Oreshnik" technologies, maybe into some joint missiles," he said.
