Merz, Macron And Tusk Travel To Moldova

Three European leaders - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will arrive in Moldova on August 27 for the country's Independence Day.
This was announced by the deputy speaker of the federal government of Germany Steffen Meier, informs Censor.NET.
"Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz will visit Moldova on August 27, 2025. The visit will take place on the occasion of Moldova's Independence Day in the Weimar Triangle format - together with French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk," a spokesman for the German government said.
Tusk, Merz and Macron are expected to be received by Moldovan President Maya Sandu. After that, a joint press conference is scheduled for Federal Chancellor Merz, President Sandu, President Macron and Prime Minister Tusk.
The visit program also includes a joint dinner and a speech by the German Chancellor.
