Ukrainian Drones Flew To St. Petersburg

On Saturday, St. Petersburg and Russia's Leningrad Region were attacked by drones. According to regional governors, six drones were shot down over the Leningrad region, while two drones were shot down over St. Petersburg. There were no reports of damage or casualties, writes Radio Liberty.
According to Fontanka, the last time drones reached St. Petersburg was in October 2024.
Saturday's attack led to massive delays and canceled flights at Pulkovo airport. More than 30 airliners left for landing at alternate airfields during the day, and more than 50 flights were delayed. By Saturday evening, the airport had resumed operations.
St. Petersburg authorities reported in the evening that windows were blown out in one of the houses in the Krasnoselsky district when the drone was neutralized.
