There's critical damage.
As a result of a drone attack on the morning of August 24, the Novatek Ust-Luga gas processing complex was hit in Russia's aggressor country.
This was reported on Sunday, August 24, by OSINT analysts of the KiberBoroshno Group.
According to them, the gas condensate/gas cryogenic fractionation unit suffered critical damage.
"It is the "heart" of the gas processing complex: here rectification and separation of components takes place, which are further exported or used as raw materials for the Baltic Gas Chemical Complex (ethylene, polymers, etc.)," the experts explained.
It is also noted that this gas processing plant is one of the largest in Europe - the complex in Ust-Luga will be able to process up to 45 billion m³ of natural gas annually, produce 13 million tons of LNG, 3.6 million tons of ethane and 1.8 million tons of propane-butane.
