Ukraine Imposes Sanctions Against Minsk-based Company DMT Trading And Eight Belarusians

Ukraine has joined Canada's sanctions imposed this year on 139 individuals and entities supporting Russian aggression. The corresponding decree was signed by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Aug. 23.
- It refers to 74 individuals and 65 legal entities involved in the industrial and energy sectors of the Russian Federation, the Russian military-industrial complex, propaganda of Russian narratives abroad, information operations against Ukraine, as well as representatives of Russian state authorities and security agencies of Belarus," Zelensky's website notes.
It is emphasized that these sanctions "have also already been partially synchronized in European partners.
"Ukraine will continue to work on the synchronization of sanctions of other allies, as well as together with partners is preparing a decision on the synchronization of Ukrainian sanctions in the jurisdictions of partners," the release reads.
The annexes to the document indicate that the sanctions were imposed on Belarusian citizens Olga Marshalovich, Artem Balaba, Maxim Balaba, Irina Karpenkova, Igor Karpenkov, Vladislav Pavlenko, Vladimir Chudakov, Anatoly Savenka, as well as the Minsk-based company DMT Trading.
