three howitzers 2A36 "Hyacinth-B",
three ammunition depots for them.
The brigade notes that each destroyed piece of equipment is the lives of the Ukrainian military and civilian population saved. Artillerymen continue to make precise strikes on the positions of the occupants.
What is known about the "Hyacinth-B"
The 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" howitzer is a Soviet towed gun of 152 mm caliber, adopted into service in 1976.
It weighs almost 10 tons and is capable of firing up to 28 km with conventional and up to 33-40 km with active-jet shells.
The cannon has about 8-10 military personnel, with a rate of fire of 5-6 rounds per minute.
The system is designed to defeat manpower, equipment and fortifications, has a long range and is still used at the front, despite its age.
In modern warfare, the Russian Federation actively uses this system, although it is considered obsolete. In Ukraine, the Hyacinth-B is also in service and is effectively used.
Many military experts note that despite its age, this gun still poses a threat due to its long range of fire. That is why its destruction is an important achievement for the AFU.
