German Foreign Minister: If Putin Thinks He Can Stall, He's Wrong

The EU is preparing a 19th package of sanctions against the Kremlin.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful urged Russian dictatorPutin to hold quick bilateral talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and warned of possible further sanctions, Tagesschau reported.

- If President Putin thinks he can stall, he is mistaken," Vadeful said at a meeting with his Croatian counterpart Gordan Grlić Radman in Zagreb.

The minister said pressure on Russia must continue.

The European Union is already preparing a 19th package of sanctions against the Kremlin to increase international pressure.
