Banks Have Puzzled Belarusians With Currency Changes

Not all of them will be to the customers' liking.
Some banks have currency innovations. "Mirror" has compiled a selection of such changes.
"BNB-Bank" from August 21 changed for individual clients the time at which balances are fixed when calculating the commission for account maintenance in dollars and euros. This affected including accounts to which cards are linked.
"MTBank" from August 15 raised the commission for cashless crediting of funds to the account with a card in foreign currency - from 2% to 3% of the amount. But the fee can't be less than Br5.
"Alfa-Bank" announced that from October 1, it will introduce a fee for crediting money to the current account: in Belarusian rubles from non-resident foreign banks, as well as in Russian rubles from other Belarusian and foreign financial institutions. The fee will amount to 1% of the amount.
Belgazprombank will reduce the size of the total average daily balance, above which the fee for servicing current accounts with a card in euros will be charged from October 10. It will amount to €200,000.
Zepterbank will change the fee for non-cash transfer of currency to individuals' accounts from September 15. From this date the fee will amount to 2.3% of the transfer amount. The minimum - 20 rubles.
"Sber Bank" reduced interest rates on some deposits in Russian rubles and Chinese yuan.
"Belagroprombank" changed interest rates on some deposit products in dollars.
