Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is afraid to meet with President Vladimir Zelensky to discuss terms for ending the war

"President Putin constantly puts forward conditions and delays because he is afraid of this meeting," Carney said at a press conference.

The Canadian politician also added that Zelensky, in turn, is ready to meet with Putin "on any neutral territory."

"That is, he does not expect Putin's visit to Kiev, but he himself does not plan to go to Moscow for this meeting. However, any place is fine," the Canadian prime minister said.
