Russia Has Begun To Set Conditions For The U.S. To Negotiate

Kremlin demands 'non-public format'.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said that the work between the United States and Russia to settle the war in Ukraine should be in a "non-public format to achieve results," nv.ua writes.

Peskov said that Russia hopes that US President Donald Trump's mediation efforts on the war in Ukraine will continue because they are "important."

The Kremlin spokesman also said that there is no exact timeline yet for a new meeting between Ukraine and Russia's negotiating teams.

At the same time, he asserted that the heads of the negotiating teams are "in contact."

Peskov also reiterated that the Russian Federation has a negative attitude toward discussions in Europe regarding the possible sending of troops to Ukraine.
