Weapons For Ukraine: The U.S. Reported "very Good News"

Washington's goal is to achieve a ceasefire by pressuring Russian Federation, not by making concessions.

The United States intends to accelerate arms sales to NATO countries in order to support Ukraine through them and at the same time increase pressure on the Kremlin.

The US ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker said, emphasizing that Washington's goal is to achieve a ceasefire through pressure, not concessions.

The post was published on his page on the social network Twitter. "President Trump is a peacemaker. By selling arms to our allies, we are bringing Russia back to the negotiating table," he wrote on the social network X.

The diplomat said arms supplies bypassing direct schemes help avoid deficits with NATO countries and keep Ukraine on a high level.

Patriot and billions - now systemic

According to Trump himself, Ukraine will receive 17 Patriot anti-aircraft systems under the new scheme. Germany has already handed over two such systems.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the initiative was supported by the UK, Germany, Canada, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

This system benefits everyone: the allies receive modern American weapons, some of which then go to Kiev. The U.S. does not bear the entire cost burden alone, and the Ukrainian army gets the ammunition and equipment it needs to deter Russian attacks.

Disappointment for Putin, hope for Ukraine

Moscow had previously hoped that Trump's arrival would lead to a reduction in military aid. But the opposite has happened: rhetoric in Washington has changed, supplies are increasing, and the NATO alliance is showing unity and resolve.

For Ukraine, this is a positive signal: support remains strong, and a diplomatic exit from the war will be built from a position of strength.
