"In September, we will make further decisions based on the data we will receive from the Border Guard Service, the army and the police," Kerwiński said. The head of the Interior Ministry emphasized that the priority now is to block the migration route, which has shifted from Belarus to Lithuania and Latvia.
Marcin Kerwiński also thanked all the services involved in the operation for exemplary coordination and good cooperation.

In this period, 185 foreigners were denied entry to Poland. In most cases, the reason for the refusal was the lack of documents authorizing the crossing of the border. At the border with Germany 124 persons were refused entry, with Lithuania - 61.
Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak assured that controls at the borders with Germany and Lithuania do not cause serious traffic difficulties.
Because of the temporary restoration of control, the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways had to reorganize traffic at several dozen border crossings and roads.
Control at the borders with Germany and Lithuania was restored on 7 July.
