Trump Adviser Accuses India Of Funding Russia's War On Ukraine

New Delhi may face secondary sanctions.

White House deputy chief of staff Steven Miller accused India of actually funding Russia's war against Ukraine by buying oil from Moscow, Reuters writes.

"What he [US President Donald Trump] has said very clearly is that it is unacceptable for India to continue to finance this war by buying oil from Russia," Miller said on Fox News.

The previous day, media outlets citing sources in the Indian government wrote that India would continue to buy Russian oil despite US President Donald Trump's threats to impose secondary sanctions.
