A Record Traffic Jam Has Accumulated Near The Crimean Bridge

Waiting times were as long as five hours.

The traffic jam at the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula has reached a record 30 kilometers in length, Mash and Astra reported, citing motorists standing in the traffic jam.

About two o'clock in the afternoon on August 3, there were 1,850 vehicles in line for manual inspection from the side of Taman, the press service of the Crimean bridge reported. The waiting time reached five hours. At the same time, another 349 vehicles were waiting in line for inspection from the Kerch side; they had to spend about an hour for the procedure. Scanner checks take up to seven hours.

By 16:00 the number of cars in the queue had decreased to 1400, and the waiting time for inspection - to four hours. The previous anti-record for the traffic jam at the bridge was recorded in July 2025 - the length of the jam amounted to 22 kilometers, note the Telegram channels. On Monday morning, almost 2,000 cars were again in the traffic jam on both sides, the waiting time amounted to about four hours.
