After the occupation of the city, the Russian military turned the plant's workshops into a large repair base and storage warehouse for military equipment, weapons and accommodation of the Russian army personnel.
The first to write about the powerful explosion were local residents on social networks. Later, eyewitnesses circulated a video and information that for unknown reasons, one of the substations in the city caught fire, causing the power to disappear in some nearby streets.
As a result of the explosion and subsequent fire on the transformers - a substation that supplied electricity to the enterprise for the repair of Russian military equipment was put out of operation. The final consequences of the explosion and the amount of damage caused are being clarified.
