Germany Responded To The West-2025 Exercise

Eurofighter fighters have been deployed to Poland.

Four weeks before the start of the joint military exercises Zapad-2025 of Russia and Belarus, Germany has decided to transfer its Eurofighter fighters to Poland. This is reported by Bild.

"Starting tomorrow, Eurofighter fighters of the German Air Force will start operating from the Minsk-Mazowiecki military airfield for the first time," said a spokeswoman for the Air Force.

She added that the operation is a "clear sign of solidarity" with NATO and serves to "reliably deter and protect the common airspace."

Bild reported that on Monday, August 4, five German Eurofighter fighters from the 31st Tactical Aviation Squadron were transferred to an air base east of Warsaw and will fly their first mission on Tuesday, August 5.

A total of 150 additional German soldiers from the Boelcke squadron, as well as command support forces and soldiers from the Friesland Air Force's Facility Protection Regiment, have been transferred to Poland since July 21 for the mission.

The German Defense Ministry told Bild that the association provides the Alarmrotte rapid reaction force, which can respond to possible airspace violations within a very short time."

It is noted that five fighter jets will support German soldiers who are already on the ground defending airspace from Rzeszów in southeastern Poland with two Patriot air defense system fighters.
