Zelensky Had A Phone Conversation With Trump

What was discussed.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wrote in his Telegram channel that he had a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump and called it productive.

"A productive conversation with President Trump. The key thing is, of course, ending the war. We are grateful to the US president for all the efforts for a fair and lasting peace. It is indeed necessary to stop the killing as soon as possible, we fully support that. Many months could have already been without war, if the Russians did not drag it out," Zelensky wrote.

He said that the positions of Ukraine and the United States were coordinated during the conversation. He also informed Trump about strikes on Kiev and other populated areas.

The issue of sanctions, defense cooperation with NATO countries was also discussed. According to Zelensky, Ukraine and the U.S. may soon conclude one of the strongest agreements on drones.

"Thank you to every American heart that supports our defense of lives. Thank you, President Trump!"," Zelensky wrote.
