In two days, Kiev received more than a billion for armaments.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. They discussed the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine at the expense of allies.
The Telegram of the President of Ukraine reports that.
"In two days we already have more than a billion dollars from our European partners - NATO members for the purchase of American weapons. This is evidence that NSATU is working and the decision of the Hague Summit of the Alliance is being realized. I thanked Mark for this," Zelensky said.
Rutte, in turn, talked about working with other countries that are also ready to join this initiative.
Zelensky also informed the NATO Secretary General about the situation in Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities, which Russia is shelling more intensively, as well as the situation on the front and the needs of our soldiers.
"We also discussed diplomatic work with partners to increase cooperation and support for Ukraine. There are good proposals. We will implement them," the Ukrainian president added.
