Trump Claimed Great Progress On Putin And Whitkoff Meeting

The U.S. president briefed some European allies on the meeting.

A meeting between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff in Moscow made progress and the meeting was productive, US President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social network.

"There was a lot of progress! I have since briefed some of our European allies. Everyone agrees that this war must end and we will be working on that in the coming days and weeks," Trump wrote.
