Reuters: US To Impose Secondary Sanctions Against Russia

The United States plans to hit Russia with secondary sanctions. Such measures will be approved on Friday, August 8.

The Reuters reports this.

An unnamed White House official told the publication that Whitkoff's meeting with Putin was a success.

"The Russians are interested in continuing cooperation with the United States. Secondary sanctions will be imposed on Friday as expected," he added.
