Belarusian Woman Died In Buryatia After Falling Into The River

A tourist from Belarus died after falling into a river in Russia's Buryatia, TASS reported citing the press service of the region's Emergency Situations Ministry.

At night in the region's Tunkinsky district, a group of tourists rafting on the Kitoy River met six travelers from Belarus. They told about the accident that happened to them.

"At the confluence of the Kitoy and Bilyuta rivers, a woman and a man fell into the water. The woman's body was found by tourists, the man was carried away by the current," the report said.

Later it was reported that the man was found alive and in satisfactory condition.
