It became difficult for the politician to speak, part of his face went numb.
Serbia's Minister of State Investments Darko Glišić suffered a stroke on air - he became ill while talking to the anchors. The official was urgently hospitalized directly from the studio in serious condition; he underwent surgery.

The incident occurred on August 5 during a morning program on the Pink TV channel. The politician found it difficult to speak and part of his face went numb. Journalists and he himself did not immediately realize what had happened. The anchors asked if everything was normal, and at first Glišić even tried to calm them down.
Portal Katera reports that the program was cut short as Glisic was unable to complete his performance. He was taken to hospital in a serious condition. Serbian President Alexander Vučić immediately arrived at the medical facility to see the minister - Glišić is one of the officials closest to him.

The country's Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar said the patient was brought to the Clinical Center of Serbia unconscious.
"Diagnostics is being done, therapy is being done. What medicine can do, will be done. We're all concerned, the president has been here from minute one. All of this has affected us, but we hope for the success of the therapy and the measures that have been and will be taken. For now, it is known that he is in serious condition ... The first hours are crucial," Lončar commented on Glišić's condition.
Later it became known that the head of the Ministry of State Investments underwent surgery, after which he was transferred to the intensive care ward.
"The surgery has been completed. It took longer than expected. Extremely complicated. Multiple teams worked because it was a combination of clotting and bleeding. We're working in stages. We started to clear the blood vessel leading to the brain, which is where the speech center is. The other vessel was also clogged and bleeding. Now his body has to deal with it. It is good that he was hospitalized in time and the surgery was done in the first hours," the health minister informed.
He added that "the body needs time to cope." Lonchar reiterated the importance that the politician was treated quickly.
"This is the ideal time to achieve a good result. We don't want to say anything in advance - we are moving step by step," he said.
