Zelensky Reacted To Talk Of Territorial Exchange With Russia

Ukrainians will not give their land to an occupier.

The answer to the "territorial question" is in the Constitution, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky declared, probably in response to US President Donald Trump's statement that, as part of the peace agreement, there should be "an exchange of territories in the interests of both sides."

"No one will or can back down from this. Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier," the Ukrainian leader emphasized in Telegram. He also added that Ukraine will not give Russia rewards for the ongoing full-scale war.

Zelensky clarified that Ukraine is ready for "real solutions" that can give peace. However, decisions "against and without Ukraine" are decisions "against peace," the Ukrainian president said.

"They will give nothing. They are dead decisions, they will never work. And we all need a real, living peace, which people will respect. We are ready to work together with Trump, together with all partners for a real and, most importantly, lasting peace - a world that will not fall apart because of Moscow's desire," the Ukrainian head of state said.
