A meeting of security advisers with delegations from the United States, Ukraine and European countries will be held in Britain today, August 9, Sky News reports.

The summit will be led by British Foreign Secretary David Lammy and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.

The British prime minister's spokesman emphasized that Keir Starmer and the Ukrainian president confirmed during their conversation today that they look forward to meeting national security advisers from Europe, Ukraine and the United States.

-"This will be a vital forum to discuss progress towards a just and lasting peace (in Ukraine - ed.)," he added.
