Zelensky: Trump Wants To Stop War, We Must Act Together Against Russian Federation's Plan

The President of Ukraine held a conversation with the head of Finland.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb. They discussed coordinating peace efforts with the United States.

- It's important that America has the resolve and the ability to end the war, and we welcome that President Trump is committed to ending the killing. And to respond to Russia's desire to prolong the war and collect more territorial spoils, we must act wisely and in a coordinated manner," Zelensky said in Telegram.

The Ukrainian president also thanked his Finnish counterpart for his support and reminded that Finland, like Ukraine, has Europe's longest borders with Russia. So, both countries are well aware of the dangers of such a neighborhood.

- We agreed to continue working together for the sake of common security," Zelensky added.
