Polish Army Destroys Some Of The Invading Russian Drones

Aircraft used weapons against enemy targets.

In Poland, an operation related to numerous violations of Polish airspace continues.

Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said on social network X.

"An operation is underway over Poland to neutralize objects that violated the border of the Republic of Poland. The president and the prime minister have been informed. All services are in action. Please follow the instructions of the Polish army and police. Aircraft have used weapons against enemy objects. We are in constant contact with NATO command. Territorial Defense Troops (WOT) are activated for ground search for downed drones. Please remain calm and only relay Army and government services messages. In case fragments of objects are found, we ask to stay away from them and inform the police," said Defense Minister Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysh.

The information was confirmed by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

He said the military used weapons against the Russian drones.

"I am in constant contact with the president and the defense minister. Received a direct report from the operational commander," he wrote.

Donald Tusk also noted that Poland's defense minister is in "close contact" with NATO members and leaders.
