Russians are testing the limits of what is possible.
The night attack by Russian drones on Poland on September 10 may be part of the Zapad-2025 joint military exercise between Russia and Belarus.
This was reported by Charter97.org with reference to an evening address by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
According to him, since 1 a.m., the Ukrainian military has been recording the movement of Russian drones in the direction of the border with Poland.
Zelensky emphasized that this was not an accident or mistake, but a purposeful movement.
"The Russians engaged both our territory and the territory of Belarus to enter the Polish airspace. Almost two dozen drones entered Poland, and from the Ukrainian side they made what appears to be less than half of the total. Russian activity has been calculated. And we see the situation in the end - how difficult it was to cope with it," he said.
The President said that Ukraine offered Poland the necessary assistance with countering Russian drones.
"No one can guarantee that there will not be hundreds, if there are already dozens of drones. Only a joint European force can give defense. We are ready to help with technology, crew training, and the necessary intelligence," Zelensky added.
At the same time, he noted that as of now, Russia has not received a tough response from global leaders to its attacks.
"There are more than enough statements, but there is still a shortage of actions. Russians are testing the limits of what is possible. They are testing reactions. They fix how the armed forces of NATO countries act, what they can and cannot do. Joint exercises with the Russians have begun on the territory of Belarus, and this may be part of the exercise plan, so to speak," emphasized the President.
