Minsk Will Borrow More Than 200 Million Rubles From The Chinese

On what terms the money will be issued is a secret.

In 2025-2026, the government of Belarus will take a loan of Br205 million in China to equip medical institutions with equipment. The corresponding decree published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

The loan will be taken from the Export-Import Bank of China in the amount of 474.1 million yuan (it's more than Br205 million at the exchange rate of the National Bank on September 11). The loan repayment period is 20 years.

The funds will be used to implement a project to equip health care organizations with medical equipment.

The document states that it will be a preferential loan, but does not specify under what conditions and at what interest.
