Ukrainian Defense Forces Carried Out A Sweep In An Important City In Kharkiv Region

Ukrainian defense forces have blocked the advance of the occupation army of the aggressor country Russia and cleared some areas where the enemy could gain a foothold in the town of Kupyansk in Kharkiv region.

Despite the complicated situation in Kharkiv region, the Russian command does not stop giving orders for an assault. In particular, very heavy and tough fighting continued near the settlement of Melovoye on the night of September 11.

"The enemy crossed the state border line just south of the settlement of Melovoye. As a consequence, the Ukrainian Defense Forces met the enemy with a fight, and therefore the enemy failed to break the border at any significant distance," Fedorenko assured.

The Ukrainian armed forces' success in the Kupyansk direction was confirmed by analysts

According to ISW analysts, the Ukrainian military advanced in the Kupyansk direction as a result of successful counter-offensives on the northern and western outskirts of Kupyansk.
