There's no stopping until they have their freedom.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda wrote about the release of 52 Belarusian political prisoners. The head of the Baltic country calls to remember those who remain in prison:
- Today 52 prisoners safely crossed the Lithuanian border, leaving Belarus, barbed wire, bars on the windows and constant fear. Among them, most importantly to me, were six Lithuanians. I am deeply grateful to the United States and personally to President Donald Trump for their continued efforts to free political prisoners.
Fifty-two people is a lot, a lot. Yet more than 1,000 political prisoners still remain in Belarusian prisons, and we cannot stop until they are free!
