Sanctions against the Russian Federation
Reminder, the other day British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy announced additional sanctions against Russia, but did not disclose the details of future restrictions.
The UK also recently imposed sanctions against individuals and organizations involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children.
The list included the mother of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov Aimani Kadyrov and the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, which organizes re-education and militarization camps for children. In total, the sanctions targeted eight people and three Kremlin-linked organizations.
In addition, the European Union is preparing its 19th package of sanctions against Russia since the start of a full-scale war against Ukraine.
The new restrictions, expected in September, target the "shadow fleet" and companies that help Moscow circumvent the restrictions.
