"Instead Of Sanctions, We Got Alaska": Sikorski Criticized Trump's Decisions On Russia

The Kremlin needs to be deprived of the resources needed to continue the war.

U.S. President Donald Trump was supposed to impose tough sanctions on Russia, but instead he arranged for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to have a summit in Alaska.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said this on Fox News.

"We have to change Vladimir Putin's calculations. We have to convince him that he cannot conquer Ukraine at an acceptable cost. And for this we need to impose tougher sanctions against Russia," the Polish foreign minister emphasized.

Sikorski added that Russia should be deprived of the resources needed to continue the war against Ukraine. He criticized Trump's recent decisions regarding Russia.

"We should have gotten sanctions, but instead we got Alaska. And since then, as you said, the attacks have intensified," the Polish foreign minister said.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski earlier reacted during his visit to Kiev to US President Donald Trump's statement in which the American leader admitted that the incursion of Russian drones into Polish territory could have been a "mistake." He emphasized that it was not an accident.
