A Young Man Who Disappeared In Poland Was Found In Ukraine And Appealed To His Fellow Countrymen

An 18-year-old Polish man, Wojciech Antoni, who went missing in early March, has been found in Ukraine. He joined the 25th brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the AFU, reports Onet.

It is noted that Wojciech's disappearance was reported in mid-March, he was then supposed to go to Warsaw. The family already suspected that the guy might be heading to Lithuania or Ukraine. After several days of searching, the Poznan police announced that he had been found, without giving any details.

Now the Ukrainian Foreign Military Recruitment Center has published a video of him. According to the young man, he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces to "save people, protect them from Russian invaders, fight the Russian invasion and fight for Europe."

"It is very important for Poland that Ukraine fights the Russians, because we are next on the front line.... Brothers and sisters from Poland. The war is closer than it seems. Help. Be ready to defend your homeland. Glory to Ukraine. Poland has not yet died," Wojciech says in the video.
