The AFU Liberated The Village Of Filia

The AFU Liberated The Village Of Filia

The Squall Battalion of the Scala Regiment conducted a successful offensive operation.

The Ukrainian battalion "Shkval" of the "Skala" regiment has conducted a successful offensive operation on the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions and liberated the village of Filia from the Russians.

"As a result, the village of Filia has been liberated from the Russian occupants. The Ukrainian flag is flying there again," said in the regiment's note.

It is noted that the Russian sabotage group was tasked to carry out a "PR action" - to hang a Russian flag on one of the buildings in the village.

"The Skala fighters were tasked with destroying the sabotage group and returning the Ukrainian flag to the village," the fighters' account reads.

Two groups of Ukrainian attackers entered the village and conducted a sweep of the settlement using small arms and grenades. After that, reinforcement units of adjacent units entered Filia to further hold their positions.

The soldiers said that the main clashes with the enemy took place mainly in green areas, not in buildings. Russian saboteurs constantly tried to destroy Ukrainian attackers with the help of drones, but managed to wound only one fighter.

While returning from a combat mission, one of the assault teams again engaged the enemy, killing one occupant.

We will remind you that on September 2, "Skala" fighters liberated the village of Udachnoye in Donetsk region, destroying all the strongholds of the Russian Federation.
