RF won't stop at Poland?

Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN Andriy Melnyk noted at the Security Council meeting that the escalation by Moscow poses a threat of global war.

This is reported in the broadcast of the UN meeting on the Youtube channel of the organization.

Melnyk said it was a conscious decision by Russia to cross another red line and test the patience of the international community.

He said that if these actions go unanswered, Russia will not stop with Poland.

"Tomorrow it could be drones or even missiles that will fall on other European countries. And the day after tomorrow, something could 'accidentally' fly across the Atlantic," he said.

He believes it is the duty of the Security Council to prevent such a scenario before it is too late. If the Security Council does not stop a new phase of escalation, the world will be on the brink of World War III.

Melnyk called on UN member states to impose coordinated sanctions actions to "suppress the Russian war machine, cut off its supply chains and stop the flow of components for drones and missiles."

On the night of September 10, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. Some of the drones invaded Polish airspace.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said there were 19 drones in the airspace at night.
