NATO Fighter Jets Were Raised In Lithuania Because Of Russian Planes

The Russians flew with radar answering machines turned off and no flight plans.

The Lithuanian army said that Russian planes violated flight rules on September 13, so NATO fighter jets were raised.

The Lithuanian army's statement is cited by Delfi.

The Lithuanian military noted that NATO fighter jets were raised twice.

"They were raised to observe and escort Russian planes that violated the order. Both cases were not related to preventive measures in Poland because of drones," the report said.

The Russian planes flew with radar autoresponders turned off and without flight plans.
