Ukrainian Intelligence And Special Forces Attack Key Russian Railroad Lines

Traffic on the directions Orel-Kursk and St. Petersburg-Pskov was stopped.

On September 3, the Defense Ministry's GSD and the SDF carried out a unique operation to stop the railroad communication of Russian invaders in the direction of Orel-Kursk. As a result, two "Rosguardsmen" were eliminated and one more was injured.

Sources RBC-Ukraine in the Main Directorate of Intelligence reported this.

An interlocutor said that during an attempt to demine the Maloarkhangelsk-Glazunovka railroad line, an engineering calculation of a special unit of the Rosguards exploded. As a result, two "Rosgvardeys" were liquidated, another one had his legs blown off.

As a result of the explosion, as of 22:00 on September 13, the railroad communication of federal importance was stopped, more than 15 trains in both directions were delayed. Diversion on the railroad was confirmed by the so-called "governor" Andriy Klitschkov, and local residents are publishing footage of the fire.

Another attack was committed on the night of September 14 - at about 02:30 at the Stroganovo-Mshinskaya crossing the St. Petersburg-Pskov railway connection was blown up. There, a locomotive derailed and 15 fuel tanks with fuel burned.

A source in the GUR notes that the operations were carried out jointly with units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

"These railway lines are critical logistical links in the supply of occupation troops in the Kharkiv and Sumy directions. As a result of the destruction of the railway infrastructure in these sections, the Russians will feel significant complications in logistics, which in turn will significantly affect their ability to carry out active actions against the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the GUR interlocutor stressed.

The day before, attack drones hit the Novo-Ufa oil refinery in Bashkortostan. This facility is located almost 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
