Ukrainian Intelligence Attacked Chemical Plant In Perm Region: New Details

Drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry (GUR) attacked the military chemical production facility Metafrax Chemicals in Russia's Perm region on September 13. This was reported on Sunday, September 14, by NV sources in the GUR.

According to NV sources, Metafrax Chemicals is a critically important chemical industry enterprise for the Russian military-industrial complex and Russia's second largest producer of organic synthesis chemical products.

It is known that equipment for urea production was damaged. The products of the enterprise are the main components for the manufacture of explosives: urotropine, methanol, pentrite, urea.

Interlocutors NV in the GUR added that the enterprise is located at a distance of 1600 km from the border with Ukraine. The operation was carried out by the Unmanned Systems Force of the GUR's Active Action Department.

September 12, NV sources reported that as a result of the GUR operation, the Bashnafta-Novoil oil refinery in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, was attacked.
